  • Yeppoon has endless beaches on offer and stunning drives along the coast, head all the way from Keppel Sands up to Farnborough to explore so much the coast has to offer

    Try The Yeppoon Community Markets at the showgrounds every Saturday morning, Figtree Creek Markets first Sunday of every month (you might even get a camel ride here!), Emu Park markets third Sunday of every month, Causeway Lake Markets fourth Sunday of every month.

  • Shell world is a museum with over 20,000 shells, including fossil molluscs!

  • With the Great Barrier Reef not far, you can take charters or hire boats to go fihsing for the day, there’s lots of local areas to fish also like Causeway lake!

  • Grab some fish and chips at tehe Causeway Lake, watch people passing the time by the lake fishing, kids playing in the playgound.

  • Swim at the lagoon overlooking the ocean

  • Visit Cooberrie Wildlife Sanctuary where you can cuddle koalas, feed kangaroos, immerse yourself in a Jurassic World tour & even play mini golf!

  • Home to over 3,000 crocs you can visit! They even have a restaurant on site catering to everyone.

  • See the Singing Ship and famous war memorial at Emu Park alongside the beautiful beach.

  • Travel back in time, there’s something for everyone. From vintage cars, fir engines, original buildings all ranging from 1850s to 1950s.

  • A must see whilst in Yeppoon. The amazing caves are over 400 million years old that you can walk through, they also have a zip line!

  • Absolutely stunning white sand, crystal blue water. Ferries take around 30 minutes from the harbour running regularly daily. There’s a restaurant, accommodation and some amazing walks,, beaches & cocktails!

    One of the few islands on the east coast that dogs can visit too!

  • Beautiful national park with swimming spots including Stoney Creek, Red Rock (where you can bring your dogs!) & Waterpark! There’s even a cute Byfield General Store where they serve great food & fuel!

  • Brilliant zero-depth water playground right on the foreshore for younger children.

    Just down the road is a skate park near the lagoon & restaurant for older ones too!

  • Kemp Beach is 2 kilometres of stunning sand, at the northenrn end there are walkways to Pebble Beach, the Rosslyn Bay lookout and Fan Rock lookout. At the southern end, Bluff Point scenic walk offers amazing views and lookouts.
